Cardiovascular Technology Program Director

Essential Functions

The qualified applicant is responsible for all aspects of the Cardiovascular Technology program, including the organization, administration, continuous review, planning, development, and general effectiveness of the program. The program director also provides supervision, administration and coordination of the instructional staff in both didactic and clinical. The program director works under the supervision of the Dean and Vice President for Academic Affairs.

Competencies

Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS), preferably with a Registered VascularTechnology (RVT) certification or any RDMS certification

Required Education and Experience

Minimum of a bachelors degree with at least four (4) years of verifiable work experience as a cardiac sonographer, teaching experience in the cardiovascular technology field.

Preferred Education and Experience

Masters degree, experience as a program coordinator
