This course discusses the aspects of cardiovascular pathophysiology. It includes an in-depth discussion of various cardiac diseases and treatment options. Precedence will be on understanding the etiology and pathogenesis of a given disorder. The function and regulation of the heart and blood vessels, cellular structure and function, electrical activity and cardiovascular integration and adaptation are also discussed. Prerequisite: CVT 200, can be taken with BIO 102.
